Campaign Story
Every month, thousands of adolescent girls in Karamoja miss school simply because they cannot afford sanitary pads. Together, we can restore their dignity, improve their health, and help them stay in school.
This November, we are organizing the Karamoja Menstrual Hygiene Outreach 2026 to provide menstrual hygiene kits and education to underprivileged girls across communities in Karamoja, Uganda.
For many girls in Karamoja, menstruation is not just a health issue—it is a barrier to education, confidence, and opportunity.
Because of poverty, many girls are forced to use unsafe materials such as old clothes, leaves, or rags during their periods. Others stay home from school for several days every month, falling behind in their education.
We believe no girl should have to choose between her education and her dignity.
This November, our team will travel to Karamoja to distribute menstrual hygiene kits, provide menstrual health education, and encourage girls to stay in school with confidence.
Each hygiene kit will include:
Sanitary pads
Underwear
Soap
Educational menstrual health materials
Our outreach will also include:
Menstrual health awareness sessions
Confidence and self-esteem talks
Question-and-answer sessions
Community engagement on ending period stigma
Every contribution—large or small—helps put a hygiene kit into the hands of a girl who needs it most.
Together, we can ensure that periods never stop dreams.

A sanitary pad may seem small, but to a girl in need, it can change an entire month—and sometimes her future.
